Taking a break!!

Hey everyone. I am so sorry that I haven't posted in awhile.. I have been sick all week with a sinus infection. Still am not 100%.. now my stomach is upset. I think it is from the antibiotics... so overall just not feeling too good. I still have to finish 11 scrapbooks for all the cousins on my husband's side of the family. Other than that, I won't be doing too much creating before Christmas. My husband is taking 2 weeks off of work and the kids will be off of school... so there will be a lot of family time which I am looking forward to! If I do create something... I will make sure that I post it!! Happy Holidays to each and everyone of you!! I appreciate you reading my blog!!! I leave you with the Christmas photo of my kids: Sydney and Robbie

Inside the Christmas scrapbooks....

Well... we did it!! We finished all of the kids shopping last night!! What a relief. I am just about finished... just have to buy for my dad who is impossible to buy for... so if you have any ideas for the man who has it all, let me know!!
Here are a few of the pages that are inside the scrapbooks that my husband is giving to his team members for Christmas. I made every album different... It took some time, but I enjoyed doing it.

Now I just have to finish the 11 scrapbooks for all the cousins on my husband's side of the family. My sister-in-law came up with the idea of me making scrapbooks for all the cousins (most live out of town). So I decided to make a 2 page layout for each kid. I have to do this 11 times. We are doing this instead of a gift exchange between the kids. I have started the albums, but I am still waiting on picutres from 2 families.... I just hope they will be finished on time to be delivered for Christmas!!!

Christmas Scrapbooks

Every year, my husband likes for me to make gifts for him to give to his team members at work for Christmas. I have been doing this for 4 years. I try to come up with something different every year. This year, I decided on Christmas scrapbooks. I bought these adorable 6x6 scrapbooks from American crafts at Archivers. Aren't these so cute? I had to make 9 this year..... so it has been an extremely busy week!! I finally finished them this morning!! I really hope they enjoy them!! Here are the outsides of the albums.

Tomorrow, I will post a few of the pages from inside the album.
Tonight, my husband and I are going Christmas shopping for the kids.. I really hope that we get it all done tonight. Are you finished with your holiday shopping yet?

Memo Board for a Boy and Merry SITSmas

Hey everyone, I hope that you had a great weekend. I met with the surgeon yesterday. Surgery is scheduled for January 28th. I will have 2 discs in my neck removed and then cadaver bone will be fused in... I wish it wasn't so far away... 7 more weeks of pain. But that is the earliest they could get me in!!!
Here is a memo board that I made for my neighbor. She is going to give this to her son for Christmas. His room is all Cincinnati Bengals, so she wanted me to make it Bengals. He will be able to slide pictures, notes, or whatever in between the ribbons. What do you think? Does it look girly?
Have a great day....

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all SITStas from the Secret is in the Sauce...I hope that 2010 is even better than 2009 for everyone!!

Friends Scrapbook Album

Well I survived the discogram... it was pretty painful and scary.I am still really sore. They stuck the needle in the front of my neck... that was scary... anyway one of the tests caused pain, so they now know which disc is bad. We are at the hospital for 6 hours and then I came home and slept all day!! I meet with the surgeon on Monday to discuss what to do... probably will have surgery.
My sisterinlaw also asked me to make a scrapbook for their dear friends that live in another state. They used to be neighbors, but still remain great friends. She wanted the scrapbook to be all about her boys. Here are some sample pages.

I hope that enjoy your Friday and the rest of your weekend!!

Grandparents Scrapbook Album

Hey everyone.... So sorry that it has been so long since I have posted. I returned from Hilton Head on Saturday night and just have been trying to get all the laundry finished, decorating for Christmas (a little bit), starting some Christmas scrapbook orders, and stuff like that... busy time of year. I was supposed to have my discogram today... but they rescheduled it for Thursday... I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 AM... not looking forward to it!!
My sister in law wanted to give her in laws a scrapbook of her kids for Christmas. I created an alphabet scrapbook that spells out "Grandchildren" Each page represents a letter in the word Grandchildren. Since there are 20 pages, I added layouts of just the kids and a poem about grandparents on the opening page. Here are some sample pages:

This would make a great Christmas present for any grandparent!!! What are you doing to get ready for the holiday season?

Home Sweet Home Scrapbook

One good thing about the craft show last week was that I got a custom scrapbook order. This young woman had just moved into her 1st house. She wanted to thank her parents for all that they did for her to help her get her house ready and the way that she wanted it. She came up with the idea of a thank you album for her parents using pictures they took as she moved in and decorated her house. I thought it was a brilliant idea!! So here are a few of the layouts in the 6x6 album:

This will probably be my last post for about a week. Tomorrow, my family and I are headed to Hilton Head, SC for the week. Therefore, I won't be creating anything and won't have anything to post!! I want to wish each and everyone of you and your families a Happy and safe Thanksgiving!!!

Craft show results....

well... the craft show was alright... not much traffic. The biggest hit was the grinch pills!! Everyone thought they were so funny and they all knew at least one person they could give them to!! All those Hershey bars that I decorated on Friday.. didnt sell any!! People thought they were cute... but no one bought. Oh well!! I probably won't do that craft show next year.
I am finished with the craft shows this year... now on to custom scrapbooks that people have ordered! I hope that everyone had a great weekend....

Hershey Bars... Great stocking stuffer or teacher present!

Aren't these cute? I got the idea from Michelle Wooderson. She is so talented. The stamps that I used are from Papertrey Ink. I made these for my craft show tomorrow! I think they make great stocking stuffers. They are also great to give to teachers or bus drivers along with a gift card.
I am looking forward to the craft show. However, it is my last one and I am kindof glad... now I can focus on my Etsy and Artfire shops and my website. Also, I have several orders coming in for custom scrapbooks for Christmas. So I am going to be busy!!! I hope that you enjoy your weekend... If I am not too tired from the craft show I will post on Sunday. BYE.....

Craft show goodies

I did ok last night at the vendor fair. It was the school's first one, so the crowd could have been bigger. However, I still had fun and got to meet a lot of new people! Here are the top sellers:

Rudolph's Spares: tins filled with M&M's. I got this idea from Kerry at Kerry's Paper Crafts.

Grinch Pills: baggies filled with Green M&Ms. I got this idea from Splitcoaststampers.

Reindeer Food: this is just dry oatmeal with glitter.

I have found that people like to buy things that are $5 or less (especially the little kids)... I have a craft show on Saturday and I am just going to focus on making more reindeer food, grinch pills, and rudolph's spares.

Thank You card Set

Here are more cards from that set I showed you yesterday. The order was for 10 thank you cards. I put all 10 cards and envelopes in an acrylic box (that was decorated with the same colors). It turned out really nice. I hope that my customer likes them!
Tonight is a vendor night at an elementary school. It is their first one, so I am hoping there will be a big crowd! I will let you know how it goes tomorrow. I have a few projects that I need to finish before tonight! I hope you enjoy your Tuesday!

Thank you cards

Here are 4 thank you cards that I made this week. I had made these for a customer and decided to make doubles to put on my websites. You can never have enough thank you notes, especially around the holidays. What is great about these is that you can use these all year around.
I love pink and brown together. They compliment each other very well.

I love this card. I really like white, black, and kraft together.

You should also know by now that I also love white, black, and hot pink together. Whenever I am in a rut.. those are my go to colors!!

I have had this patterned paper forever!!! I think that this paper goes great with this stamp set!

I hope that you enjoyed my thank you cards!!!

Premade Christmas Scrapbook

Here are some pages from the Christmas scrapbook that I have been working on. This album is 11 x 8 1/2. I have never done an album like this. I had a lot of fun creating it. It is hard to tell, but most of the embellishments are 3-D, so they really pop off the page.

Last night, we took my daughter (she is 7) to get her ears pierced. She was really excited and nervous. Of course, she cried after... but she looks so cute with her earrings!! My son who is 5 tried to cheer her up. He kept saying how pretty she looked with her ears pierced! Tomorrow I will post some cards for you!! Have a great day!

Tis the season to make some lists and to check them twice. Here are 2 notebooks that would be perfect for all of your Christmas lists. I used Papertrey Ink stamps and some bright holiday paper.

I hope that everyone is enjoying your Tuesday. I should have some cards for you tomorrow. I just need to take the pictures. I also have been working on a Christmas scrapbook. Have a great day!!

Santa Card

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a great Halloween. Too much candy? Yes I did!!!Halloween is now over... so on to Christmas... crazy how time flies!!
Here are 2 cards using the Santa for the Holiday Button set for Papertrey Ink. I cut out Santa's head and beard and put a pop dot on the back to make it dimensional. Isn't he a cute santa? Enjoy your Sunday!

I am there for YOU!! card

Here is another Papertrey Ink card using the Everyday Button Bits set. Can you tell that I love this set? On Sunday, I will be showing you 2 cards using the Holiday Button Bits set.. it is a really cute set.

Update on my neck. I have to have a discography, where they shoot dye into my discs in my neck to figure out which one is causing the pain. I will have to do this 2 times. They say it can be very painful. Has anyone had this done or know anyone that has? I am really nervous about it! It will probably be the week of the 9th.
I hope that everyone has a great Halloween. Pretty busy day tomorrow, so probably no post. Happy Halloween!!

Butterfly Card

I really love hot pink, black, and white together for a card. I thought this color combo would be great to use with the butterfly set. I punched the butterfly out in pink passion and just glued the middle part, so that the butterfly looks like it is about to fly off the card.
I am having a Halloween sale in my ArtFire shop. Everything is 31% off from now through Halloween. Just use the code: Halloween.
My neck/back still really hurt. The 3rd epidural injection did not work AT ALL. SO, tomorrow I am meeting with the surgeon to see if I will need surgery for my herniated disc. I will keep you updated.
Have a great Wednesday.

Wedding Scrapbook

Hey everyone... Are you enjoying your weekend? The weekends go by way too fast!! I wish we could have one more day on the weekend... oh well. I will enjoy it while it is here. I have been working on a custom wedding scrapbook that a customer ordered from my website: www.inkrediblecreations.net . The colors are white, black, and hot pink. The bride loves the damask pattern, so I tried to incorporate that pattern often. Here are some of the pages:

What do you think? Will she be happy??? Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. I am about to watch the Bengals play.. hopefully they will win this game!!!
