Home Sweet Home Scrapbook

One good thing about the craft show last week was that I got a custom scrapbook order. This young woman had just moved into her 1st house. She wanted to thank her parents for all that they did for her to help her get her house ready and the way that she wanted it. She came up with the idea of a thank you album for her parents using pictures they took as she moved in and decorated her house. I thought it was a brilliant idea!! So here are a few of the layouts in the 6x6 album:

This will probably be my last post for about a week. Tomorrow, my family and I are headed to Hilton Head, SC for the week. Therefore, I won't be creating anything and won't have anything to post!! I want to wish each and everyone of you and your families a Happy and safe Thanksgiving!!!

Craft show results....

well... the craft show was alright... not much traffic. The biggest hit was the grinch pills!! Everyone thought they were so funny and they all knew at least one person they could give them to!! All those Hershey bars that I decorated on Friday.. didnt sell any!! People thought they were cute... but no one bought. Oh well!! I probably won't do that craft show next year.
I am finished with the craft shows this year... now on to custom scrapbooks that people have ordered! I hope that everyone had a great weekend....

Hershey Bars... Great stocking stuffer or teacher present!

Aren't these cute? I got the idea from Michelle Wooderson. She is so talented. The stamps that I used are from Papertrey Ink. I made these for my craft show tomorrow! I think they make great stocking stuffers. They are also great to give to teachers or bus drivers along with a gift card.
I am looking forward to the craft show. However, it is my last one and I am kindof glad... now I can focus on my Etsy and Artfire shops and my website. Also, I have several orders coming in for custom scrapbooks for Christmas. So I am going to be busy!!! I hope that you enjoy your weekend... If I am not too tired from the craft show I will post on Sunday. BYE.....

Craft show goodies

I did ok last night at the vendor fair. It was the school's first one, so the crowd could have been bigger. However, I still had fun and got to meet a lot of new people! Here are the top sellers:

Rudolph's Spares: tins filled with M&M's. I got this idea from Kerry at Kerry's Paper Crafts.

Grinch Pills: baggies filled with Green M&Ms. I got this idea from Splitcoaststampers.

Reindeer Food: this is just dry oatmeal with glitter.

I have found that people like to buy things that are $5 or less (especially the little kids)... I have a craft show on Saturday and I am just going to focus on making more reindeer food, grinch pills, and rudolph's spares.

Thank You card Set

Here are more cards from that set I showed you yesterday. The order was for 10 thank you cards. I put all 10 cards and envelopes in an acrylic box (that was decorated with the same colors). It turned out really nice. I hope that my customer likes them!
Tonight is a vendor night at an elementary school. It is their first one, so I am hoping there will be a big crowd! I will let you know how it goes tomorrow. I have a few projects that I need to finish before tonight! I hope you enjoy your Tuesday!

Thank you cards

Here are 4 thank you cards that I made this week. I had made these for a customer and decided to make doubles to put on my websites. You can never have enough thank you notes, especially around the holidays. What is great about these is that you can use these all year around.
I love pink and brown together. They compliment each other very well.

I love this card. I really like white, black, and kraft together.

You should also know by now that I also love white, black, and hot pink together. Whenever I am in a rut.. those are my go to colors!!

I have had this patterned paper forever!!! I think that this paper goes great with this stamp set!

I hope that you enjoyed my thank you cards!!!

Premade Christmas Scrapbook

Here are some pages from the Christmas scrapbook that I have been working on. This album is 11 x 8 1/2. I have never done an album like this. I had a lot of fun creating it. It is hard to tell, but most of the embellishments are 3-D, so they really pop off the page.

Last night, we took my daughter (she is 7) to get her ears pierced. She was really excited and nervous. Of course, she cried after... but she looks so cute with her earrings!! My son who is 5 tried to cheer her up. He kept saying how pretty she looked with her ears pierced! Tomorrow I will post some cards for you!! Have a great day!

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a great Halloween. Too much candy? Yes I did!!!Halloween is now over... so on to Christmas... crazy how time flies!!
Here are 2 cards using the Santa for the Holiday Button set for Papertrey Ink. I cut out Santa's head and beard and put a pop dot on the back to make it dimensional. Isn't he a cute santa? Enjoy your Sunday!
