Happy Holidays!

I am so sorry I haven't had any new posts lately!! My kids have been sick and I have been running around getting ready for Christmas. My husband is having shoulder surgery on Monday and the kids are now out of school, so I had to try and get all of my shopping finished and the gifts wrapped! I am finished with shopping and only a few gifts left to wrap! I will not have time to post any new projects for awhile... if I don't post any more before Christmas, I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!!! I do hope to be back before the new year.... hopefully I will get a new toy for Christmas and I will be able to make some new projects! Merry Christmas! Beth

Where does the time go?

I can't believe that we are only 2 1/2 weeks away from Christmas!! Time flies way too fast. Here are 2 more cards that I made.... I think I only have about 26 more to go!! I don't mass produce cards, but will make 2 or 3 of the same card sometimes.... Now that we are getting so close to Christmas and I just want to be finished, I will make them much simpler than I usually would. I like to have more layers on my cards and more embellishments (especially ribbon). I usually never make a card without ribbon, but I am just running out of time and energy.... so lesson learned... next year start making Christmas cards in July!!

Tis the season!

Well, I thought I was finished with my Christmas cards, until I sat down and wrote my list and counted how many cards I had and needed. I was 38 cards short. So... I will be busy the next few days. I don't like to mass produce cards, so I will be making many different ones. I will be posting the next few days the cards that I make. I hope that you enjoy them. The ones that I am posting today are from CC Designs digi stamps. You purchase them through All that Scraps for $5 and they send you a link. All you have to do is download them and print. It is really cool. You can even resize them. Have a great Sunday! Beth

Nugget tins

Here are 2 nugget tins that I have made to give as Christmas gifts. I decorated the nuggets with Christmas paper by Me and My Big Ideas. I just found this paper at Michaels in a HUGE stack. I promised myself I wouldn't buy any more stacks... but I couldn't resist. It was really cute and on sale!!! You can never have too much cute Christmas paper, especially when it can cost up to $1 a sheet now. What are you making for Christmas gifts? Beth

New idea for my message board

Someone gave me an idea for my message boards. She suggested to make a Christmas one to hold Christmas cards. I thought it was a great idea!!! I am making 3 of these for my husband to give to his coworkers for Christmas (along with the scrapbooks). I painted the canvas red and then stapled the Christmas ribbon across it. Let me know what you think. Beth

Snowman card

Here is one more Christmas card.... last one for awhile.... hopefully, unless I have to make more to send out.... I haven't counted to see how many I have and how many I need to send out. I usually only make one of each card... but I really liked this this stamp and layout, so I made about 5 of these! This stamp is from Darcies. It is a really cute set.

It will be a fun class, so it will be worth it! If you have a favorite thank you card, leave me a comment. I need ideas!!! Have a great day.

Post it Note holders

I am still creating for my craft show on Sunday... I thought I was finished until I went to Target this morning and saw these post it notes in the $1 spot. Aren't they so cute? I had to buy them. They have a lot of really Christmas stuff in the $1 spot: metal cans, felt bags, tags, and stickers.... I made 2 types of post it note holders: one with a cover and a clipboard one. I also went to Michaels (can't go to Target without Michaels... next to each other!) and bought the Martha Stewart snowflake punch that I used on the covers. All her stuff is 30% off. Enjoy!! Beth

More craft show stuff!!!

Here are some more things that I have made for my craft show on Sunday. I made Snowman poop and Magic Reindeer Food. For the snowman poop...you just put marshmallows in cello bag and a bag topper. I used the top note die for the bag toppers. The Magic Reindeer Food is just oats with red glitter. Put that in a cello bag and add the topper. I still have to add a poem to the topper, but of course my printer ran out of ink. The poem on the Snowman poop is actually a stamp from Taylored expressions. These are so easy to make and hopefully will sell!! What do you think? Any other quick ideas for my craft show? Thanks, Beth

lunchboxes

Here are some lunchboxes that I made last year. I sell some of my things at a store and someone had asked for a coupon box. I also made a recipe box for the store. I really enjoy altering lunchboxes. There are so many uses for these tins: memory box (baby, school days, holiday, sports), recipe, coupon, card box, planner... Have you altered a lunchbox? If so , leave a comment with a picture if you have one.... Have a great day! Beth
