I am so sorry I haven't had any new posts lately!! My kids have been sick and I have been running around getting ready for Christmas. My husband is having shoulder surgery on Monday and the kids are now out of school, so I had to try and get all of my shopping finished and the gifts wrapped! I am finished with shopping and only a few gifts left to wrap! I will not have time to post any new projects for awhile... if I don't post any more before Christmas, I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!!! I do hope to be back before the new year.... hopefully I will get a new toy for Christmas and I will be able to make some new projects! Merry Christmas! Beth
Here are some more cards that I made using the digital stamps that I purchased through All that Scraps. I just love the snowman and bear. They are really cute. I also love that I can resize these images. I hope that you like my cards..... I have only 13 more Christmas cards to go! Have a great day!
I can't believe that we are only 2 1/2 weeks away from Christmas!! Time flies way too fast. Here are 2 more cards that I made.... I think I only have about 26 more to go!! I don't mass produce cards, but will make 2 or 3 of the same card sometimes.... Now that we are getting so close to Christmas and I just want to be finished, I will make them much simpler than I usually would. I like to have more layers on my cards and more embellishments (especially ribbon). I usually never make a card without ribbon, but I am just running out of time and energy.... so lesson learned... next year start making Christmas cards in July!!
Hi everyone... I hope that your Monday is going well. Here are some more Christmas cards using the digi stamps from All that Scraps. I have had a lot of fun coloring these in using my Copic markers. Well, off to make some more Christmas cards!!! Enjoy your day!
Well, I thought I was finished with my Christmas cards, until I sat down and wrote my list and counted how many cards I had and needed. I was 38 cards short. So... I will be busy the next few days. I don't like to mass produce cards, so I will be making many different ones. I will be posting the next few days the cards that I make. I hope that you enjoy them. The ones that I am posting today are from CC Designs digi stamps. You purchase them through All that Scraps for $5 and they send you a link. All you have to do is download them and print. It is really cool. You can even resize them. Have a great Sunday! Beth
Here is a scrapbook that I made for someone that I met a craft show that I did in September. She emailed me and wanted a grandparents scrapbook and Christmas scrapbook. Just click on the link to see the pictures.
Here are 2 nugget tins that I have made to give as Christmas gifts. I decorated the nuggets with Christmas paper by Me and My Big Ideas. I just found this paper at Michaels in a HUGE stack. I promised myself I wouldn't buy any more stacks... but I couldn't resist. It was really cute and on sale!!! You can never have too much cute Christmas paper, especially when it can cost up to $1 a sheet now. What are you making for Christmas gifts? Beth
Someone gave me an idea for my message boards. She suggested to make a Christmas one to hold Christmas cards. I thought it was a great idea!!! I am making 3 of these for my husband to give to his coworkers for Christmas (along with the scrapbooks). I painted the canvas red and then stapled the Christmas ribbon across it. Let me know what you think. Beth
Here is one more Christmas card.... last one for awhile.... hopefully, unless I have to make more to send out.... I haven't counted to see how many I have and how many I need to send out. I usually only make one of each card... but I really liked this this stamp and layout, so I made about 5 of these! This stamp is from Darcies. It is a really cute set.
Here are some Christmas cards that I made using Stampin' Up! stamps. I added glitter to the house on the first card and I embossed the tree with gold embossing powder. They are really pretty in person. Have a great weekend! Beth
Can you tell I have been busy?? These scrapbooks are made using Stampin' Up! top note die. I just ran it through my cuttlebug!!! It was really easy!!! I made these scrapbooks for my husband's coworker to give to her team for Christmas. It is part of a gift ensemble! I will post pictures of that later, but it will include: a top note scrapbook, Snowman soup with mug, and a Nugget tin. All of these will be placed in a felt bag that I bought at Target for $1. Let me know what you think! Also... if you have made scrapbooks using the top note die, I would love to see it! Just leave me a comment! Have a great Friday! Beth
Sorry I haven't posted in so long!!! I am still struggling with a sinus infection. It has not been a fun week and half! Today's post shows some Christmas scrapbooks that I have made for my husband's coworkers for Christmas. The albums are 6x6 made by American Crafts. I bought them at Archivers for $1.99 each. You can't beat that! I have also posted some sample pages. Have a great day!! Beth
Here are the rest of the birthday cards that I made for my upcoming class on Monday (cased from creative artists on Splitcoast). They will be making 2 of each. Now I need to come up with 2 Thank You cards and cut all the paper (for 100 cards... 10 cards per 10 people!!!) and then I will be ready!! I am tired just thinking about it!! It will be a fun class, so it will be worth it! If you have a favorite thank you card, leave me a comment. I need ideas!!! Have a great day.
I am still creating for my craft show on Sunday... I thought I was finished until I went to Target this morning and saw these post it notes in the $1 spot. Aren't they so cute? I had to buy them. They have a lot of really Christmas stuff in the $1 spot: metal cans, felt bags, tags, and stickers.... I made 2 types of post it note holders: one with a cover and a clipboard one. I also went to Michaels (can't go to Target without Michaels... next to each other!) and bought the Martha Stewart snowflake punch that I used on the covers. All her stuff is 30% off. Enjoy!! Beth
Here are some more things that I have made for my craft show on Sunday. I made Snowman poop and Magic Reindeer Food. For the snowman poop...you just put marshmallows in cello bag and a bag topper. I used the top note die for the bag toppers. The Magic Reindeer Food is just oats with red glitter. Put that in a cello bag and add the topper. I still have to add a poem to the topper, but of course my printer ran out of ink. The poem on the Snowman poop is actually a stamp from Taylored expressions. These are so easy to make and hopefully will sell!! What do you think? Any other quick ideas for my craft show? Thanks, Beth
Here are some lunchboxes that I made last year. I sell some of my things at a store and someone had asked for a coupon box. I also made a recipe box for the store. I really enjoy altering lunchboxes. There are so many uses for these tins: memory box (baby, school days, holiday, sports), recipe, coupon, card box, planner... Have you altered a lunchbox? If so , leave a comment with a picture if you have one.... Have a great day! Beth
Here are some Christmas cards that I made last year. I love snowmen.... so I really enjoy making snowman cards... It is a great excuse to add some sparkle to your cards. What is your favorite image to use on Christmas cards? Do you have a picture of your favorite Christmas card? If so, leave a comment with a link to your card. Have a great day! Beth
Before I leave for my trip, I thought I would post some cards that I made in the past. I was looking through my pictures on my computer of my cards that I have made throughout the years. These are some birthday cards that I made back in 2007. If I can figure out how to schedule my blog posts, I will post some more for when I am gone this weekend!! Enjoy! Beth
This is a birthday card that I made for an upcoming class. I cased this card from Darcie on Splitcoast. The stamp set is Party Hearty from Stampin' Up! All of the supplies used are Stampin' Up! I am trying to make simple cards for this class because they will be making 10 cards. I will post the rest of them as soon as I make them... This will be my last post until next week. I am going out of town tomorrow for the weekend!! Have a great weekend!! Beth
Hello everyone... I want to share a new project with you!! These are memory boards. They are so easy!! I painted canvas and stapled ribbon and voila... a memory board. This is perfect to display pictures or messages.I am planning on selling these at a craft show in a few weeks!! Let me know what you think... Beth
I cannot believe it is already November.... Where does the time go? I hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend. We did... it was very busy. This is a Christmas card that I made. It is really sparkly in real life. I used Real Red cardstock and patterned paper from last year's DCWV glitter stack. Right now I am working on birthday and thank you cards for an upcoming class. Once I am finished, I will post the cards. Have a great day! Beth
Happy Halloween!! I hope that everyone has a fun day with all your trick or treaters. Here are some cards that I have made for Halloween. Not many people send Halloween cards... but I love Halloween images and making the cards, so I don't mind sending cards for Halloween!! Enjoy! Beth
