cupcakes and butterflies

The cupcake card was made with the scraps from yesterday's cards. It was so simple to make. I finally bought the Butterfly set from SU... and I have had this butterfly stack of paper from DCWV forever. I thought the 2 would work great with each other. I love the bright colors in the paper. They even match some of the new SU colors.

sketch challenge 233

Every Wednesday there is a sketch challenge over at Splitcoast. I used to do these sketches all the time. Then I took a pretty long break, and now I am back doing them. They are a lot of fun. This week's sketch is a great way to use up some of your patterned paper that you may be hoarding. Try it out.

cupcakes... who loves cupcakes?

This is a new stamp from SU ... it is in a set called "The More the Merrier" which is a level 2 hostess set. I also used some new in colors.... My favorite is Melon Mambo. It is really pretty... I have already used the color a lot... as you will see in upcoming cards. Beth

Sketch challenge on Splitcoast

I made these cards using the sketch from splitcoast from a couple of weeks ago. I really like this sketch because it is a great way to use up some of my patterned paper. Try this sketch out and post me a link in the comment section. I would love to see your creation. Beth

Birthday cards

You can never have too many birthday cards... seems like I need one or two every couple of weeks. Right now I am trying to build up my stash..... I don't like making a card at the very last minute. Here are two cards that I made today. Beth

I am back AGAIN....

So sorry if you have been visiting me and there have not been any new posts. I just haven't been making anything lately..... I have just bought a bunch of new stuff, so hopefully that will motivate me to start making more things..... Here is a card that I made last week. I used my Quickutz Silhouette to draw the image. I just removed the blade and inserted a pen. Pretty cool.... I am really going to try and keep my blog updated. Please leave me comments so that I know that I am even getting visitors!! I hope that you have a great weekend! Beth
