Well, Sydney's 7th birthday party was a hit!!! Remember, it was "Sydney's Sweet Shoppe". The girls arrived at 2. First they decorated baker's hats and then made foam magnets. Next, they decorated and ate cupcakes. Then, Sydney opened her presents. We sang happy birthday and ate cake and ice cream. Finally, the girls got to fill up their own goodie bag with candy from the candy "bar". I got all these ideas from Bethany at Hissyfits Photography blog. She is very creative!!!
First, I am showing you the tins and goodie bags. I found the tins at Target dollar spot. I hot glued the marabou onto the tins, to make them more girly. When they filled up their goodie bags, they placed the goodie bag into the tin to take home.
I made the cupcake goodie bags out of fabric. These turned out really cute. Inside the goodie bags were: a cupcake cup, 2 marble magnets, a bottlecap necklace.
Here are couple more pictures of the tins and goodie bags:
This is a dum dum topiary that I made using a styrofoam ball and over 200 dum dums!!
Here is the candy "bar". The girls loved this.... of course I bought too much candy and have tons left over....

Here is our fireplace: I made candy decorations out of styrofoam and cellophane. I made the banner that says "Sydney is 7".
Here is our front door. I made 2 big lollipops out of styrofoam and cellophane. My brother in law made the sign: "Sydney's Sweet Shop".
He also made me cupcake toppers and the tags on the tins. He is a great graphic designer and did an awesome job! Here are some of the cupcakes that I made... I made tons of cupcakes... had to put some in the freezer...
Finally... here is the sweet birthday girl, Sydney:
This party was a lot of fun to put together!! Sydney really appreciated all my work too, so that makes it all worth it!!

The Dum Dum Topiary is the mother of all awesome party ideas! It turned out great! I recently did a 50 dum dum arrangement, and wow, I know how much work yours must have been! Your candy decorations were amazing! The candy bar was a great idea. And if I had been there, you wouldn't have had to freeze any cupcakes, they look so good! Way to go on the coolest paper ever!
