Cupcake card

 

I am on a birthday card kick.... can't stop making them. I am hoping to focus on thank you, thinking of you, etc.... cards later this week. I am having too much fun making cupcake cards with the liquid applique I just bought. This stuff is too much fun. All you have to do is color the icing in with the liquid applique and then dry it with a heat gun. When you use your heat gun on it, it puffs up and it looks like icing... YUM!!

Aren't these frogs the cutest ever??? When I saw this stamp at the stamp convention, I had to have it. I need more boy stamps anyway... Here is a birthday card I made for a boy... I used crystal effects on the background frogs to give them a little shine...

Here is another Bella card that I made using the same layout as previous days. This is a great card to give to a friend just to say hi or even a thank you!

Birthday Bella

I hope that everyone is having a great Saturday. It is beautiful here and I am looking forward to a fun day. Soon, I will be heading out to a stamp convention in Sharonville with my mom. This will be our 3rd year going and we have so much fun!! I will let you know what goodies I buy!! Then later, my family and I will be heading to the waterpark and amusement park.

Here is the other birthday card that I made yesterday. I used the same layout (try it out... it is soo easy!) This time I used a Birthday Bella stamp... this would make a perfect card for a girlfriend!!

Birthday card

Here is a birthday card that I made today. I really love this card layout because it is so easy to use... Also it gets me to dig into my scraps of patterned paper.. which is getting pretty high!! I embossed the cupcakes and the saying and then colored them with my copic markers. I made another birthday card using the same layout, but with a different stamp. I will show you that tomorrow. Our Girl Purse Scrapbook

Here is my latest finished scrapbook. It is a purse scrapbook made out of chipboard. It has 5 pages and can hold 9 of your favorite little girl pictures. I am really happy with how it turned out! I used prima flowers, gemstones, buttons, ribbon, and other chipboard embellishments. Check out my Etsy shop for additional pictures!
I am hoping to make some cards in the next couple days. I am running low on my stash! I will be attending the Stampaway stamp convention here in Cincinnati on Saturday... can't wait to buy some new goodies!! Have a great Wednesday night!

Birthday invitation

I hope everyone is enjoying their Tuesday afternoon. It is a very dreary, rainy day here. The kids and I saw a movie, G-Force. It was a cute movie. They thought it was really funny!!
Here are 2 of my daughter's birthday invitations. I used the cupcake stamp from the SU set: The more the merrier and the paper is from The Sweet stack from DCWV. I also added glitter to the icing on the cupcake. I am happy with how they turned out.

It's me again!!

I am back again... I am trying to plan my daughter's 7th birthday party. She wants it to be at our house. After surfing the net for birthday party ideas, we came up with the theme: Sweete Shop...
